Privacy Policy
This page describes how the local-agent Google OAuth client uses data. It is an operator-maintained stub for OAuth consent branding, not a lawyer-reviewed policy.
Who we are
local-agent is a private hybrid local agent operated for household / personal use. Contact: agent@klunt.net.
What we access
When you authorize the Desktop OAuth client for the Gmail pilot, the
app requests Gmail read-only access
(gmail.readonly) so it can search and read messages you
choose to process. It does not request send, modify, or settings
scopes for that pilot.
How data is used
- Mail content is processed on operator-controlled machines according to the project’s local-first privacy rules.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use Gmail data for advertising or for training third-party public models.
- OAuth tokens are stored by the host auth tooling (OS keyring / local auth home), not published in this repository.
Sharing
Data is not sold or shared with third parties except as required to operate Google APIs you authorize, or when you explicitly escalate a task under a cloud-allowed privacy class.
Retention and revocation
You can revoke access at any time in your Google Account → Third-party access settings. After revocation, stop using the client and remove local auth state on the operator machine.
Changes
This stub may be updated when the public site or OAuth scopes change. The live URL is https://agent.klunt.net/privacy/.
